I'm trying a new service (well, new to me) today to promote my social media speaking, training, consulting and coaching. It's called
Thumbtack, and it's a free
service businesses and individuals can use to promote their products and services to local consumers and businesses.
In the process of creating my listing, I was wondering how many of these sites are simply more "spaghetti against the wall" - throwing stuff out into the void in hopes of getting someone - anyone - to find you?
I'd be interested in getting your perspective on these types of services. From Craigslist to Thumbtack and everything in between. How has your experience been with these types of sites? Have they worked and brought you business?
